Door repair and replacement
A door that drags, doesn't latch, has weather-damaged trim or needs new casing may require adjustment, hardware work, carpentry or replacement. We review the existing door and frame to determine whether repair or replacement makes better sense.
Exterior door work may require evaluating the threshold, seal, framing and surrounding trim. Some situations reveal concealed damage that cannot be priced accurately until the area is opened.
Trim, casing and finish carpentry
We take on projects involving damaged door casing, baseboards, window trim, caulking preparation, small wood repairs and the finish work needed after other improvements. Our estimate identifies what's being reused and what must be replaced.
Shelving, closets and storage
We also install customer-supplied closet organizers, wall shelving, storage units and similar assemblies. For wall-mounted products, the wall construction and available framing determine how the items can be secured.
What to send before installation
- Photos of the existing door, opening, trim or intended wall.
- Brand and model or product link for any customer-supplied equipment.
- Measurements and a description of any access limitations.
- Whether demolition, disposal, drywall repair or painting should be included.
Mounting or modifying load-bearing elements may require additional review; no structural change is assumed without evaluating the project.

Frequently asked questions
Can you use doors or shelving I already purchased?
Yes, in many cases. Please share the model and dimensions so we can review suitability and what is needed for installation.
Does the installation price include materials?
Not automatically. We specify labor, materials, hardware and disposal separately in the written estimate.
Can damaged door trim be repaired instead of replaced?
Sometimes. When trim is heavily damaged or missing sections, replacement is often the cleaner and longer-lasting option.
