Repair first, then finish correctly
Drywall work can involve much more than covering a hole. We review the damaged area, check whether a larger section needs replacement, and plan for joints, tape, compound, sanding and finishing. Where textures already exist, matching them may require tests and multiple passes.
For damaged ceilings or walls, we can discuss patching, drywall replacement, texture blending, priming, and painting as separate scope items so you know what is included.
Interior painting with attention to preparation
Preparation often has the biggest influence on the final result. Before painting, we discuss surface cleaning, filling, caulking where appropriate, masking, primer, color selection, number of coats and protection of floors or furniture.
Typical requests include repainting bedrooms, walls and trim; touching up repaired ceilings; and finishing after small remodels or fixture-related wall repairs.
Information that helps us quote accurately
- One wide photo showing the whole wall or ceiling, plus a close-up of the damage.
- Approximate dimensions and ceiling height.
- Whether you want the repair only, primer, color-matched paint, or a full wall/room repaint.
- Whether moisture or a leak caused the damage and whether the source has been resolved.
Drywall should not conceal an unresolved leak or unsafe condition. Additional assessment or a specialist may be needed before closing a wall.

Frequently asked questions
Can you repair a hole without painting the whole wall?
Often yes. We can estimate patch and texture work separately, but differences in paint age, lighting and finish may make a touch-up visible.
Do you match existing wall texture?
We can evaluate the existing texture and discuss blending options. Exact matching cannot always be guaranteed from photos alone.
What if the damage came from a water leak?
The moisture source should be corrected and affected materials assessed before drywall replacement and finishing.
